The people that I work with often find that there are particular needs that the body and psyche are calling for. These core needs can start to be resolved when people take the time to acknowledge and make room for their diverse parts, defenses and strengths. I also work with couples and families by helping them deepen their shared insights about their unique systems. I work with people by helping them to attune to their somatic experience as well as their internal dialogue and fantasies.

I have taken great pleasure in working with queer, trans and straight individuals, families, and couples since 2019. My approach is relational, warm and grounded. My expertise is helping people get curious about the roots of what causes them to feel discontent so that they can implement helpful strategies to better connect with themselves and others.

Hello there, I am Steve Barroso a Spanish speaking Clinician. I have been working in the mental health field for over 10 years. I have a vast amount of experience from working in the non-profit sector to a psychiatric hospital setting. I enjoy working and assisting with making a positive impact in a persons life. I am family oriented and enjoy spending my free time with family and friends. I enjoy playing sports such as basketball and football.
